Suncoast Surfshop has been the longest running surfshop in West Florida. Starting out in 1966. They are coming up on their 40th year anniversary! Joe Nuzzo has been the shop owner since the begenning and is still running the shop that he has established in Treasure Island, FL. Joe is an icon in West Florida surfing. Being one of the brave souls to open a surfshop on Treasure Island when surfing was bearly even introduced to the area. Joe was also one of the only few surfers to surf in the Gulf back in the 60's when most thought West Florida was not surfable.
