Christian Daniels was able to advance straight into the finals with a first place finish in both the 1st and 2nd round. We took this opportunity to escape to New Smyrna Beach Sunday to hunt down better surf. Upon arriving  were stoked to find chest high plus peaks to split amongst a few friends. Truly a groms playground...

It was a tough battle Monday in the Boys final where in the end Christian was just barely edged out by fellow competitor Blake Elmore for 1st place. Christian takes home a respectable 2nd place finish at the 2014 NKF Surf fest. Other Gulfcoasters who took the podium, included Micheal Ramano, Gigi Rieter, and NXTC Surfboards rider, Anthony Riccio who took first place in the Mens division!
