NSSA SE kicked off their season this past weekend at Coconut Point Park in Melbourne Beach, Brevard Co. Contest 1, Saturday, and contest 2, on Sunday, in waist high contestable surf. Though the waves varied between the tides, there was plenty of ripping going on. Former Anna Maria grom, Christian Daniels (now residing in Indialantic Beach) made 6 finals during the 2 day event and walked away with a First and second place finish in Explorer Menehuene, two second place finishes in explorer boys, and a second and third place finish in open boys! Way to go grom! We also enjoyed a couple low tide sessions at Sebastian Inlet after the contest.
