The ESA Southeast Regional Championships went down this weekend in Melbourne with a great showing from our Gulf coast surfers!  Big congratulations to Christian Daniels for his 1st place finish in Boys division, and Sterling Foster finishing 2nd in the highly contested Open Shortboard division.  We also saw great scores and finishes from Michael Kapica, Clay Crevasse, Russell Drevison, Robert Knight and Brian Fischer.  Next up will be the Eastern Surfing Championships in Nags Head, North Carolina this September. 
 
Our new season is now under way for the ESA West Florida District 2014-15 competitions.  We will try to host at least 3 contests on the Gulf coast, along with one combined event with Central Florida District in Brevard and one combined contest with the Treasure Coast District at Fort Pierce Inlet.  We will announce the East coast contest dates soon.  For now, be ready for a Gulf coast contest when a weekend of contestable conditions presents itself!
