3/1/09 Tampa Bay Kitemasters Race photos and results
As you know it blew like snot this Sunday and we had some of the biggest waves and wind of the winter for the race.Conditions were 25-30+ knots winds with seas of 10+ feet offshore. Inshore conditions were head high to overhead.
This race was a benefit for All Children’s Hospital. 105 riders registered for the event and there were over 200 people at the party on Saturday. On behalf of the Tampa Bay Kitemasters and sponsor Watersports West, a check will be presented to All Children’s Hospital with an unofficial amount of $5500.00 dollars.
The race started at Sand Key Park and ended at
The Tradewinds Resort on St. Pete beach.
